Biographical Description

John Pettiver was a resident of Perquimans Precinct, North Carolina by 1703. He served as a justice of the North Carolina General Court from 1713 to 1714. In 1732 Joseph Haynes murdered Pettiver with the assistance of John Pettiver's own wife Ann.
