Michell Myrs (or Michael Myers, possibly) was a resident of Rowan County who signed a petition to Arthur Dobbs in 1762 requesting that he appoint a justice of the peace for Rowan County. Around 1763, William Strother and Oliver Wallace were accused of horse stealing, found guilty, and sentenced to death. In an undated petition, he joined others from the Salisbury District in asking royal governor Arthur Dobbs to reprieve both men.
