Biographical Description
Samuel M. Wilson was born in Yancey County, North Carolina on May 17, 1874. Wilson, a son of mountain guide "Big Tom" Wilson, was a farmer in Pensacola Township (Yancey County). He died in Burnsville (Yancey County) on October 6, 1955.
