Biographical Description
Richard Caswell Swain Wilson was born in Pensacola Township (Yancey County), North Carolina on August 13, 1858. Wilson, a son of mountain guide "Big Tom" Wilson, was a lifelong farmer in Pensacola Township. He died there on April 2, 1936.
