Biographical Description

Joshua Stroud was a resident of Orange County, North Carolina by 1755. In 1773 he helped his relative Elizabeth Stroud file a claim with the North Carolina colonial government for a horse that the militia had taken during the War of Regulation on 8 May 1771 in Hillsborough. Stroud died sometime after 1779.
