Sarah Crickett was born in Chowan County in about 1751. In about 1770 she married Alexander Valentine. In 1774 Sarah Valentine, along with her mother and sister signed a nonimportation agreement that later became known as the Edenton Tea Party Resolves. Sarah's husband Alexander died in about 1783 and in 1785 she married George Morgan. She died sometime after 1830.
