Craven, William, 3rd Baron Craven

Biographical Description

William Craven was born in England in 1700. He inherited his father's title and proprietorship in the Province of Carolina at age eleven in 1711. He, along with most of the other proprietors, sold their claims to the crown in 1729. Craven died in England on August 10, 1739.
