Biographical Description
Whitmel H. Hardee was born in North Carolina in about 1815. A resident of Halifax, North Carolina for part of his life, his aunt Mary R. Wheaton named him as an heir in her will in 1858. Hardee did not live to collect on the will, dying sometime before 1873.
