Biographical Description
William Norwood was born in Bute County, North Carolina on January 15, 1767. A prominent lawyer in Hillsborough, North Carolina, in 1820 he became a superior court judge, a role he served in until 1836. He died in Orange County, North Carolina on January 29, 1842.
