Fowler Shelton was born in White Rock (Madison County), North Carolina on April 9, 1867. Fowler was the proprietor of a Ford dealership in Madison County, North Carolina. He additionally served as a road commissioner for the county around 1916. Shelton died in Madison County on January 28, 1926.
