Biographical Description
David Russell Noland was born in Fines Creek (Haywood County), North Carolina, on February 11, 1866. Noland was a farmer and public official who served as sheriff of Haywood County (1903-1905 & 1905-1907) and legislator (1913 & 1915). He died in Asheville on June 25, 1928.
