Christian Heidelberg was born in Germany and arrived in North Carolina by 1721. He settled in Chowan Precinct, where he served as a deputy marshal. In 1730 he moved to Onslow Precinct, where he served as a justice of the peace and operated a ferry. He died in Onslow in the spring of 1741.
