Biographical Description

Archibald Holmes was a resident of colonial North Carolina, likely near Pantego in present-day Beaufort County. In 1707 Holmes told Robert Kingman that he and his English neighbors were having a dispute with the near Pamlico American Indian Nation. No further records about this individual have been located.
