Biographical Description

Thomas Kimsey was born in about 1710 and was a resident of Bertie County, North Carolina. An innkeeper, he was called to testify for the prosecution in a case against John Strawberry, an American Indian man accused to murdering Elizabeth Knott. Kimsey died in Bertie in 1766.
