Biographical Description
James Wyche was born in Greensville County, Virginia on December 25, 1785. A farmer, he represented Granville County in the North Carolina State Legislature for several years and also served as the chairman of the Granville County Court. He was later the President of the Raleigh and Gaston Rail Road Company. He died in Raleigh, North Carolina on March 28, 1845.
