Overton Westfeldt Price was born in Liverpool, England, on January 27, 1873. Price was among the first students of the Biltmore Forest School and studied under Carl A. Schenck. He served as assistant forester during the administrations of Theodore Roosevelt and William Howard Taft. Price died in Henderson County, North Carolina, on June 10, 1914.
