Biographical Description
John Edgar Long was born on December 25, 1864, in Graham, North Carolina. Long was an educator and farmer in Alamance County. In 1920, he provided testimony in an investigation into an attempted lynching in Alamance County. He died in Graham on December 25, 1935.
