James Harvey Roberson, Jr., was born in Martin County, North Carolina, on February 11, 1873. Roberson was a merchant, farmer, and fertilizer manufacturer in Robersonville (Martin County) who served on the board of trustees for Robersonville Township. He died in Martin County on August 27, 1936.
