The communication signed by yourself, W. T. Bridgers and the Mayor of Conway received. The natter of which you speak in that letter is one that this department has no means to correct. This department has no detective force. neither has it funds at its command for employing detectives. The situation that you speak of should be called to the attention of the Sheriff of your county and if the Sheriff cannot handle the situation he could then make requisition on this department for any aid that he might deem necessary in order to protect the lives, property and peace of your county.
