In the case of Mrs. Anna Guest, I have been since the rect. of yours of the 17th. Oct. 1845 trying to procure the certificate of the Clerk of Wilkes County N.C. and it is only to-day recd. and is, together with the Family record, herein forwarded, which I hope will be satisfactory in her case. The affidavit of Elijah Keese, which was in the first instance forwarded, was not taken either in the presence of myself or the old lady.
